mens healing session
In Person: Poole, Dorset
Online: Zoom / Face time
60 Minutes: £80.00
“The Talking Stick became the exact men's group I had been looking for. After trying a few in person and online groups that didn't quite meet me where I was. Chris' group held the perfect balance of space, opening up the masculine, spiritual, emotional and physical elements that this type of work needs. And Chris manages to hold all these elements beautifully in a light but definite way. The opening, breaking and of course growing that occurred throughout the sessions was almost indescribable. I've absolutely shed some layers, come to terms with some realities and made really strong meaningful bonds with a group of men I didn't know before. Thanks Chris for putting yourself out there and holding this group offering insights, practices and support both in the workshops and beyond in the group that has developed” Ross Bennett — Sheffield
It can be difficult to navigate the modern world being a man. Feeling we don’t feel safe to express how we really feel in a conscious and compassionate environment without feeling threatened. This can lead to us hosting years of repressed emotions and thoughts that can remain unresolved, turning into stagnant, blocked imbalances and disease of the spiritual body. This can result in us acting out of authenticity and love and expressing emotions in a toxic way. Because our society is not set up for men to feel secure to deeply express their feelings, the ego will protect us from showing any weakness. This is an understandable protection mechanism but one that is clearly not working for the modern man.
These 1-2-1 sessions offer a calm, compassionate and safe space for men to voice how they really feel outside of their relationships. I will lead by example to show that vulnerability does not equal weakness in fact it shows courage. This then sets the tone for other men to go there and find that safety and confidence. These sessions are perfect for someone who is new to mens work and wants to build confidence and trust before joining a men's group. These sessions are a journey of self development and growth so that you can feel better and be better. Mens work is essential for the modern man, not only for the individual but also for his relationships, family, friends and community.
The steps we take to healing have such a huge impact on everyone in our lives.
Delivering your voice with conviction is one of the most courageous things men can do.
