How to forage and make your tonic

It's best to forage in some woodland if you can so you know they are fairly untouched by pests. Simply collect a handful of cleavers by pulling them from the base. For the nettle cut off some fresh heads of the nettle, you can use some gloves for this. Give the plants a wash in cold water then add to pot on boiling water and steep for 15 minutes then sieve it off and enjoy the warm healing tonic.
